TrumpRx is committed to transparency about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to provide you with medication pricing services:

Location Data

• Browser Geolocation: If you click "Use my current location," we request your device's GPS coordinates to find pharmacies near you. This requires your explicit permission.
• User-Entered: You may enter a ZIP code to set your location manually.

Your selected location is stored in local storage and may include a ZIP code, coordinates, and a label. ZIP codes or coordinates are also sent to the server and AWS Location Service for geocoding or reverse geocoding. Reusable ZIP- or neighborhood-level results may be cached in Cloudflare KV for up to 30 days.

Email Address

• Notification Signup: If you sign up for updates, we store your email. A new signup triggers a confirmation through the bound email service and includes a signed unsubscribe link.

Medication and Pricing Activity

The service processes medication search terms, selected drug pages, pricing requests, and coupon, PDF, and wallet-pass requests. Pricing data comes from TrumpRx databases rather than live requests to the named pricing providers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or maintain:

• Your name or contact information, except an email address if you sign up
• Diagnoses or prescription records
• Longitudinal or account-linked medication history
• Payment information; purchases occur directly with outside pharmacies
• Social Security numbers or government IDs

Medication interest is still processed through searches, selected pages, pricing, coupons, PDFs, and wallet-pass requests as described above.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Location data: To geocode your selection, show nearby pharmacies, and cache reusable area-level results
• Email address: To record your signup and send a confirmation with a signed unsubscribe link through the bound email service
• Medication and pricing activity: To return medication details, prices, coupons, PDFs, and wallet passes

4. Cookies & Local Storage

This site uses:

• Location storage: To remember a ZIP code, coordinates, or a location label
• Browse and sort storage: To remember browsing and sorting state with a one-hour application expiration

You can clear your browser's local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

6. Data Security

We implement technical measures to protect the very limited information we collect, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Configured rate limiting to prevent abuse; the service does not use Turnstile
• Secure storage for email signups and caching for bounded location results
• Signed unsubscribe links that delete the matching signup record

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can:

• Clear location data: Delete your browser's local storage to remove your saved location preference
• Deny geolocation: Decline browser geolocation requests and enter your ZIP code manually instead
• Use the service without providing email: All pricing features work without providing an email; you can print or screenshot coupons instead
• Unsubscribe from notifications: Use the signed unsubscribe link in a TrumpRx signup email; the POST unsubscribe flow deletes the matching signup record.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
